Our Environmental Statement
We have included this page on our web site because it seems
that businesses today all seem compelled to have some sort of
‘statement’ on the environment. Hungry little crawler-bots
are probably eagerly feasting on the title below as you
read this and reporting back to the IPCC, so here goes...
Working For A Sustainable Future
Sustainability, eco-everything, climate change and the environment are
all buzzwords which businesses often pay lip service to in order to tap into
the powerful new religion of environmentalism. We even have ‘green’ retail
banking branches in New Zealand as well as a mobile phone company which
wants to 'save trees'. This is crazy stuff.
We will not play this game. DigiPro has no truck with the greenies and lunatic
fear mongers who say that the earth is warming because of human activity.
As far as we are concerned, the science is not settled and even if the planet
is warming it is more likely to be something connected with the sun than
anything else. Just 35 years ago there was widespread ‘scientific’ panic that we
were headed for a new ice age! Hahahahaha!
We do not think that having more people are a bad thing or that a 'population bomb'
will destroy life on earth. In fact humans have a huge capacity for development
and progress and we respect and praise this aspect of human intelligence. Life
is safer, healthier and longer now for humans than at any other time in our history
and we have technology, development and our industry to thank for this.
There is no such thing as original sin. The fear that we are destroying the planet
is a psycho-emotional sickness which mutates into guilt, panic and the sense of
hopelessness and anti-humanity which unfortunately pervades many aspects of our
culture at the moment.
We are firm believers in sustainability. Our understanding of business sustainability
is to always strive to supply excellent photography and customer service at a
price which is good value and competitive. This way, our customers come back again
and our business is sustained.
